    Biography

Milla L. Lvovich is the managing partner of Lvovich & Szucsko P.C. Her practice is primarily focused on business, real estate, and intellectual property litigation. She represents companies and individuals in the areas of commercial law, contractual litigation, construction defect, landlord/tenant, unlawful detainer, insurance, trademark, patent, copyright, and other disputes. Ms. Lvovich has litigated in state and federal courts throughout California, and has argued before the California Court of Appeals. Ms. Lvovich has also successfully represented clients in alternative dispute resolutions, including arbitration and mediation. In addition to representing individuals and companies in Court and engaging in resolution of active disputes, Ms. Lvovich regularly advises businesses and individuals on structuring relationships, negotiations, and contract formation, with the focus on preventing litigation.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Lvovich assists individuals with their estate planning needs. Her focus is on designing and implementing an estate plan that is consistent with each client’s and his/her family’s needs and overall financial plan. While every estate plan ends up being unique, a comprehensive plan often includes such documents as a trust, will(s), power(s) of attorney, health care directive(s), and trust funding documents. A more complex estate plan may involve creation of insurance trusts, special needs trusts, charitable trusts, creation of family limited partnerships, LLCs and other entities. In helping clients create the right plan for their individual situation, Ms. Lvovich often works together with other professionals, such as accountants, financial planners, wealth managers, insurance agents, etc.

Ms. Lvovich received her J.D. from Santa Clara School of Law in Santa Clara, CA in 2002, with a concentration in high tech law. While attending Santa Clara, she participated in the Honors Moot Court Competition, practiced at the Small Business Law Clinic, and completed an internship at the San Mateo County District Attorney’s office. She completed her undergraduate studies, magna cum laude, at Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 1999 with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Business Administration.

Prior to founding Lvovich & Szucsko P.C. in 2006, Ms. Lvovich worked as an associate at Peterson Weyand & Martin, LLP, where she focused on real estate litigation, Cox Wooton Griffin Hansen & Poulos, LLP, working in the areas of maritime and general civil litigation, and Bradshaw & Associates, P.C., concentrating on landlord/tenant, real estate, and business disputes.

Ms. Lvovich is an active member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, as well as Bar Associations of San Francisco, California, and New York. In addition, she is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Hebrew Free Loan Association of San Francisco.
